USB NES controllers are old school these days, but Jay put together a nice new take on the project. once you do that go to input and in the upper right corner should be the name of your controller highlighted in blue mine says Logitech Precision. If anyone has any questions on my setup, I'll be happy to answer, I'd love some advice on how to get it to work. what kind of controller are you trying to use it has to be plugged into your computer before you open nestopia or it won't realize it's there. You just need to configure the emulator after you plug it in. (I have four usb ports on my laptop, so I tried them all.) I'm running Vista, and I've tried NEStron, NEStopia and FCEUX in their latest versions. Before, I just used to emulate my NES games on my Acekard using nesDS so I'm not particular to any computer software emulator, and I'm open to recommendations. I'm having problems getting it to work, though. ![]() ![]() I just bought from this seemingly awesome NES controller to USB adapter so I could use my NES controllers on emulators. There are SNES controller and NES controller knockoffs on Amazon if you wanna use something close to the original, or you could buy an adapter to use an actual NES pad.
